We had enjoyed several amazing movies in 2018 that made records on Box office. So, guys, now it’s time to look forward at the most anticipated movies to have on your list as the new year rolls around. The upcoming year has a ton of amazing movies in store and with no surprise, Captain Marvel, Hellboy, Avengers 4, Aladdin tops the list.

 

1. Captain Marvel

Release Date: March 8, 2019

Upcoming American superhero film Captain Marvel is based on the DC Comics character. Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) becomes one of the world’s most intoxicant heroes while Earth is in a galactic war with aliens.

Oscar-winner Brie Larson is set to become the face for a female hero in the movie which is set in 1995, the movie will center on former fighter pilot Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), who becomes Captain Marvel when Earth is trapped in the middle of an alien war.

 

2. Avengers 4

Release Date: April 26, 2019

Avengers: Infinity War is the highest-grossing film globally of 2018 and it’s the sequel, i.e. Avengers: Endgame, being expected as the most anticipated film of 2019. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will be a

conclusion for this era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the remaining Avengers seek a way to defeat Thanos after he snapped half of humanity out of existence.

 

3. Hellboy

Director Neil Marshall and ‘Stranger Things’ actor David Harbour come together for ‘Hellboy’ an upcoming American superhero film based on the Dark Horse Comics character of the same name.

The trailer of ‘Hellboy’ is already released and it is liked by the audience. Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola,‘Hellboy’caught amid the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

 

4. Aladdin

 

Release Date: May 24, 2019

Aladdin’ in the latest live-action take on a Disney classic Disney recently released the first look at Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott a Princess Jasmine and Will Smith as magical Genie who isn’t the CGI character we have all learned to love. The film is all set to hit the theatre on May 24.

 

5. Joker

Release Date: October 4, 2019

‘Joker’ is an upcoming crime film distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and based on the DC Comics character Joker. Director Todd Phillips presents Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck in The Joker, a standalone film about Batman’s most iconic adversary.

6. Glass

Release Date: January 18, 2019

Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Glass is the most expected sequel to his 2000 movie Unbreakable, in which Bruce Willis plays David Dunn, a man with enhanced strength. “Glass” brings Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson’s villainous Mr. Glass together with James McAvoy’s “Split” character.‘Glass will be released by Universal Pictures in North America on January 18, 2019.

 

7. It: Chapter Two

 

Release Date: September 6, 2019

After the success of ‘It’ in 2017, grossing over $700 million worldwide, the sequel, ‘IT: Chapter Two’ will see the kids of the Losers Club all grown up, and return to the town where Pennywise haunted them. Director by Andy Muschietti, ‘It: Chapter 2’ release date is set for September 6, 2019. Let’s see the sequel of the film will create the same magic as part 1.

8. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Release Date: August 9, 2019

The highest point of ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ is that the film brings mutually veteran actors like Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kurt Russell, and Tim Roth with newcomers like Margot Robbie. The film set in Los Angeles in 1969 featuring Manson murder-victim Sharon Tate and her friends features a number of actors playing real-life figures.

9. The Irishman

Director Martin Scorsese brings together Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino for perhaps Netflix’s biggest film this year, based on nearly five years of recorded interviews with mob hitman Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran. The film is based on Charles Brandt’s book ‘I Heard You Paint Houses’, ‘The Irishman’ marks the ninth collaboration between De Niro and Scorsese.  Although ‘The Irishman’ doesn’t have a release date yet, it may be the second half of 2019.

10. Dark Phoenix

Release Date: June 7, 2019

Dark Phoenix will be Fox’s last “X-Men” film before the Disney-Fox combination is complete. The film adapts the famous “Dark Phoenix Saga” storyline from the comics.

Written and directed by franchise veteran Simon Kinberg, Dark Phoenix stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi-Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters and Jessica Chastain. X-Men: Dark Phoenix premieres in theatres on June 7, 2019.
