The couple had arranged a trial separation after which, they decided to have divorce this Wednesday.
“As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends,” the couple said in a statement on Twitter as shared by Jeff Bezos recently.
Mackenzie is a well-known novelist having titles such as The Testing of Luther Albright: A novel and Traps. She has also founded the aspects such as Bystander Revolution, an anti-bullying organization.
Jeff Bezos is famously known as the founder of Amazon and richest person in the entire world. The net worth of the Amazon CEO is about $137 billion.
